Bud, where are you? Are you doing okay?

Benton, KY(Zone 7a)

Keith and I are watching the Weather channel and Fox News(we're news junkies anyway)We have our road atlas and every time a town or parish is mentioned,we hunt for it on the map.The names are getting Waaaaay too close to you for comfort!

Glad Redrose and Mini evacuated...yes,where is Bud??

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

mel, The parish names to worry about would be: Lafourche and Terrebonne, I am on the border of those parishes. The news just said those parishes were in danger. sigh. I wish I were outta here right about now.

Thanks Dave. So glad to find out this morn that Lili was downgraded to a #2 - But Lisa you should have gotten out of the way. I heard a reporter in New Iberia just a bit ago and sounds like it is still a terrible storm although not quite as high winds. You all keep bunkered down and stay safe.

Hi Everybody! I am back on line!! I should have hooked up yesterday but too tired.. Believe or not,, we havent leave our home. We stayed through the storm.. But In New Iberia, LA where my hometown,RedRose and My mom and family lives, it is bad damaged and no power!!! They will have their power back on in few days. I talked to my mom yesterday. Thanks God the phones still working. She is staying at my sister house during storm hit. Here, It was so bad, windy, gust and raining.. Lots of tree limbs on grounds. We might go to see her and family tomorrow or on Sunday to see if they need help.. Thanks for the praying for our safety from the Hurricane Lili. (( HUGS)) Tricia

MY DH said wait and look at TV I looked it before we get ready to leave and it moved more North instead west.. We said let's stay here and watch TV close... if it change the path, WE LEAVE! We packed stuff in my car and truck. Just be ready.. Everybody lives around here, they left. THanks god it was just category 2..not 4 or 5..

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

I'm glad everything is okay with you and yours, Mini (and Lisa, and others closer to the coast...) The effects of Lili are just now hitting us, it started raining about 20 minutes ago, and the wind has been steadily picking up since about 5:30 this morning. Hopefully it'll scoot on through without incident.

Mini, words can't express how happy we are to see you back here, safe and sound! Rest now, okay? ((Mini)).
