You should have control in the Preferences (Settings) of your browser.

Got it thanks darius, when I got in DG yesterday and used the scroll on my mouse, the print kept getting larger and larger until it was huge. And the darn thing wouldn't scroll. Musta had a glitch as it is working fine now!
Thanks,
Candee

Redrose and Mini:
Click on View, then on the dropdown menu, go to text size with your curser, and a box will open with Largest, Large, Medium, Small--click in the circle, on whichever size you prefer. I am running Windows 98, also.

You can also hold down the CTRL key and use the scroll on your mouse to make things bigger or smaller.

Thanks weeds, that must have been what I initially did as my scroll button kept enlarging the text and I didn't know why. Must have had these flying fingers on the control button at the same time LOL!

MaVie, just noticed Hesperia, CA. Our one son used to live there in 1999. He attended Riverside school for the deaf and then eventually landed in Hesperia. Now he is living in Santa Barbara. Small world!

Oh really you have a son deaf, I did not know that. How old is he?

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

We have a deaf son and deaf daughter Red. Ben is 28 and Jen is 32. They both live and work in California outside Santa Barbara. It was quite an experience rearing those two LOL! Believe me, yelling at your kids does not work!!!

haighr.. Yeah you got it right.. My family had to come and touch on my shoulder so I will look up them.. or stomp on the floor that I can feel the vibrate.

Everything in the house had to be marked. Refrigerator, cupboard, glasses, bathtub, there were sticky notes all over. The favorite was throwing up your hands for "all gone", milk all gone, candy all gone, etc.

yes Haighr... i live in Hesperia. i always go to Santa Barbara, my son went to school in USB. three of nieces are going to school there now. When i used to live in Los Angeles, there is a big Braille School for the deaf and blind.

We were out there for Christmas in 1999, had a wonderful visit as Tim was working out there for a while in Hollywood, CA and we went to Santa Barbara to visit Jen and Ben. Like I said, small world. I loved visiting the Mojave desert while out there and got some great pictures.

Haighr... i live 4-1/2 miles away from the Rock Candy Mts. it is nice to live in Hesperia, we have 360 days of the yr. basking on the sun. unfortunately hardly any rains. true i am totally isolated from civilization, but i do enjoy fresh air all year round... no sign of smog in the desert.

In Internet Explorer you can also go into TOOLS - INTERNET OPTIONS - GENERAL - ACCESSIBILITY and select "Ignore font sizes specified on web pages", then click OK, APPLY, and OK again. Pages will not look as the author intended, but it makes reading some pages a heck of a lot easier because it lets you also enlarge some of the text which normally doesn't change when you choose a different font size in VIEW.

Thank you for tell me wow you have 2 deaf children so I am only one deaf in the family but my far cousin just become deaf due old age so, I am wearing the hearing aid can hear when they call me sometime so funny when they call me not understand why I don't look at them so they came touch my shoulder scare me and said "what is wrong with you you can't hear me call your name huh"? I said oh well my hearing aid battery dead that's why not hear you call me. LOL~

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

LOL redrose. Steve (DH) lost hearing in one ear a few years ago and the other ear is not very good. The hearing aids don't help him, so he mostly goes around saying "ah ha" and I have warned him that is a dangerous response! It is funny though, he was recently at Johns Hopkins after passing out and the neurologist said to him "I am going to give you three words, remember them" then she said, "cats, chose and lemons" Later she asked him what the words were and he responded "hats, lose and womens" - LOL, he remembered what he heard!!!
