I need to move these cookbooks and coffee mugs

Currently we are trying to sell the cookbooks for $12 and the coffee mugs for $10. We've got quite a bit of both left, and I really want to get rid of them.

I'm considering dropping the price by $2 for both of them. Do you think it will matter, or have we sold as many as we're going to sell?

I can't go much lower than that, because then I'll be losing money!

The prices seem fine to me. Of course I haven't bought either yet even though I do WANT one of each - nothing more than procrastination happening here... now where did I put that credit card :)

I'm confused! Are you considering dropping the price by $2 if we buy the cookbook and mug together as a set? Or $2 on the cookbook and $2 on the mug? Please clarify that.

I have bought cookbooks for myself, my two daughters and someone else here! :) I don't have anyone else to buy them for.

However, I have bought only one mug, but I could use a few more so I'd have a set of 6 for my mug tree when we move into the new house.

I didn't want to be hoggish, so I didn't order any more. Should we? Like I said, I can't use any more cookbooks, but I can use a few more mugs.

I'll be gone from Sunday noon until Wed. sometime on a business trip, but if there's some mugs left when I get back I'll consider ordering some more. I'd like someone who doesn't have one yet to get first chance though.

I'll check in Wed. evening about this.

What do the mugs look like? If oversized I would definitely get one or 2.

my pleasure :)!

Could you give us a rough number amount of just how many are left of the mugs and the cookbooks?

Great idea Mr. Dave. A DG sale!! Perhaps a sign or special notation on the top of the site to get everyone's attention also.

To clarify, I am considering dropping the price by $2 on both of them, so the mugs would end up being $8 and the cookbooks $10. Regardless of whether they were bought together or not.

CoCo: We have about 70 cookbooks and about 100 mugs (this is a guess on my part. The boxes are in Trish's office but we're moving them to my office this week, and I'll be counting and inventorying them).

kell, the mugs are wonderful, you need to get several. I use mine every morning. Dave, I wish you great success in moving them, and if people only knew how great they both are, they would snap them up.

I bought 3 cookbooks, and 3 mugs folks. A great investment. The mugs are high quality and a real attention getter (I take one of mine to the farmers market with me and people always have something to say about it!) The cookbooks will make great presents. (However, I decided to keep two of my three for myself.)

Well, I'm going to lower the cookbook by $4 - almost completely breaking even. I want to get these books out of there. Right now, I want to sell the books more than I do the mugs (the books are 2002, and I don't want to still be selling them after 2003 starts)

I received one of the mugs as a "thank you" for adding comments to the PDB and it is AWESOME. I use it for my hot tea. It's wonderful. Everyone should have at least one!
