My xsil is in line now getting us tickets for the nov 6th show here in saginaw but on Nov 3rd i will be in his hometown-going for the whole weekend in his swmall town!

Sue i have been dancing all over the house and jumping and crying-im going to see his hometown,his house-i hope i can run into him!!!!! oh this is the best!! ive only seen him 4other times-yrs ago! His music means so much to me-we live by johnny law-suk it up and tough it out and be the best you can!!! OMG im so darn happy im crying!=]

Oh Dori, I'm so excited for you. I would feel the same way if I were going to see Rod Stewart. I once got to see Rod twice in 3 days. Anyway, wanted to tell you that I was born and raised in Richmond IN but my mother was born and raised in Seymour and that is where all my aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. live. Anyway, one of my cousins married one of his cousins or some such thing. Doesn't exactly make us related, but, hey, just wanted to share that little tidbit. It will probably be as close to my claim to fame as I'll ever get. My sister and I stayed with our grandparents for two weeks every summer growing up in Seymour and when he became so famous I remember asking my sister, "I wonder if we ever saw him at the park or ice cream store or a restaurant or something". I'm thinking the chances were pretty good since Seymour is quite a small town. There is a DGer from Seymour also. Anyway, have a GREAT time!

Hi, NotMartha! I'm not aware of any shows here in Seymour For John. He lives in Bloomington Indiana now, but Seymour is THE SMALL TOWN where he grew up and where his parents still live. Are you coming to Seymour or going to Bloomington? Lou
