Can you help me?

(Zone 5a)

I have some photos that I put a copyright on and accidently deleted the original, so my question is there anyway I can remove the copyright form the picture?

Sounds like a Dave question Kit, I have no idea. You might post in his forum. Good Luck!

Isn't there something like that on the place where you chose your style of copyright? Seems like I saw where you could choose which one you wanted and you could even choose to not have any at all on your pics. Not sure if that would remove the ones from your already posted pics though. Sorry I couldn't help :(

Molly I am not talking about DG copyright but one that I add to my photo.

You might be able to do it with a photo editing program. I know mine has an eraser in it. The bummer is you'll have to go back and add the color back into the picture.

I am afraid that to remove it could be a very very tedious and time consuming task depending on how intrusive into the photo it is. You said you deleted them but did you empty your trash too? If not go to your trash bin and retrieve them at once!

I was affraid of that Poppy, oh well I guess I might as well get on it.

Zany it is deleted when I delete it the first time and doesn't go to my trash.

Sue's right - watermarking/copyrighting an image is a one-way process. The nice thing about copyright messages like that is that they can't (easily) be removed. The bad part is that they can't (easily) be removed.

I was afraid of that Wind :{ That is why I have everything I delete go to a trash can first. So when I delete something I get a chance to reconsider before I empty the trash.

So how intrusive a mark did you use? What does it cover? If it is not tooooo bad you can touch up the photos so that they look good again but if it covers faces of people you would pretty much have to be a pro and even then the results are iffy.

Thanks Dave I was afraid of that.

Zany it's not that bad but I want to enter it in a contest here. I guess I'll have to get the old paint brush out, and see how good I am lol.
I don't send anything to the trash can. Here lately someone has been trying to send me a virus and when I delete it I don't want it hanging around in the trash can just in case I forget to empty it.
