A mere 150 photos to go...

...to reach 10,000 (yes, ten THOUSAND) photos in the Plants Database. I could not hardly believe my eyes when I saw our numbers continuing to steadily climb toward this very significant milestone.

(And for once I'm not here to twist anyone's arm, or cajole ya'll into adding photos - because it appears this will happen of its own accord, and fairly soon. Of course, if you want to help it along, that'd be fine, too :)

I'm simply amazed, especially when I consider how one very short year ago, I was very grateful that we had 1,000 photos. Wow!

lol! Just got my phonebill today... Guess I'll have to add a few more anyway:)

That is so cool! Good job everyone!

Awesome! What a feat! Just yesterday Kenny and I went to town and I had to pull over when I saw the most beautiful stand of pampas grass, then noticed Johnson grass across from it and a few other things. That will help it get on up over that ten-thousand top! Woo-hoo!

I've refrained from adding most of my photos because there's usually one that's similar or better already there. I'll take a peek tonight to see if I have something to add that's different or shows a plant from a different angle.

Oh good grief. Didn't anyone notice my math blunder? Or were ya'll being polite??? Well, I just spotted it, and to be more correct, we have ~800 to go, not 150. (At the time I started this thread, we needed 1,150...now you know why I didn't last long in the accounting profession!)

Uh, polite..yeah, thats it! We were being polite! ;~)
Wish I had more to post but I am out of pics of plants that I can identify to post! But the way this thing is growing it is going to be the PDB that is the most comprehensive in the world before too much longer! Very KEWELL!
