Garden Subscription Angels

Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

They are at work again! Those sneaky Garden Angels. Last year they were a busy bunch sending the subscription money for those who found it difficult to find extra cash. Dave's Garden means a lot to so many people, and it is such a nice idea to help those on fixed incomes or with difficult circumstances to be able to be part of all this. If you can afford to send a few extra dollars with your subscription renewal I'm sure Trish would put them together with somebody else's few dollars for a subscription for somebody who can't afford it. A Garden Angel Fund. Can we do this?

Sounds like a plan MaryE!

Great idea, Mary, especially to help those overseas, where exchange rates make a subscription very costly.

Yes...our overseas friends do have it the worst. Here in the USA $15.00 is not much...and can be saved out of most of our incomes, even people like me that lives on Social Security..... Jo
Ever wonder why they called it Social Security...not much Security...and very little SOCIAL!

What a sweet idea, Mary ! I'm game!

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

i could sure use some help right now.... with my daughters wedding and all its hard.. a(her wedding is one the 26th)
f i could pay it off or something that would help. does anyone know ifthat can be done?

counting down the days lol
wonder

I had the idea of offering to send someone $15 worth of something danish/scandinavian in exchange for a subscription (no idea what that would be though). Maybe that's an idea for those of us overseas. If you don't have a credit card, the banks basically make you pay twice for a check that small.

Is it possible we have tulip or other bulbs you can't get in the US?

GASP!!!!

I got me an angel!!!!

giggle...
somebody did it again!

thankyou who ever you are for giving me another year with my lovely family!
I hope after the wedding i can send some money back in to help someone else enjoy the family and friends i do!

From my end , it will be only till the end of the month.

I love you all and I do love to be one of the family, but with the strong dollar and the Bank fees and government taxes and penalties, not one from Chile could afford it.

Myself, I cannot.

It worked like a charm the last time the Garden Angels fluttered their wings, sounds like an especially good idea particularly for your friends overseas. I'm in.
