DH and I were working on getting our full size Scarecrow dressed and ready for his annual appearance in the flowerbed, and had gone into the screen porch to have a cup of coffee. Our little red headed granddaughter Lauren Kate had just gotten up, and was talking about planting her new bean plant from school.....as she went out the door, she let out a blood curdling scream....."There's a dead man on the driveway!!!!!" We laughed so hard, and she just looked at us like we had lost our minds. When I caught my breath, I said Lauren , honey....go look at it again real close, it's Mortimer, the scarecrow!! Hapy Fall to all!
"eyes"
r.i.p.
LOL Eyes! You probably traumatized that child really bad! LOL I bet that was hysterical.
egads Eyes....musta scared the child to death....
lol though, it musta been pretty funny
How precious! What a sweet little girl she must be!
When my DD was about 5 we had a scarecrow in our garden (DH's garden) and our DD slept in a small upstairs room alone...One night she came barreling down the stairs....said the scarecrow had flown off his pole and was flying around in her room...Needless to say that scarecrow was history after that!! Jo
How about a pic of Mortimer when he is decent?
Oh, my goodness. What a laugh I got from that. I don't laugh out loud at much, but this one tickled my funny bone.
