Anyone heard from her lately?

I was just missing her too...and emailed her...She answered that she was fine, and that they had been doing a lot of veggies...and hadn't been on DG much lately. That's all I know. Jo

Maybe one of those who were here on DG this morning (specifically in the chatroom) can explain for me. For me, I'm not interested in talking about it except if it's necessary.

What's done,is done.
What Dave had to do,he had to do, and should be no questions asked. He has reasons for what he does and if he felt that she should no longer be a memeber, then so be it. But whatever happened, it's over and done with and shouldn't be talked or gossiped about when a person cannnot defend themselves; either here or through private emails.
I do not condone whatever happened,but I do believe that it is time to drop the subject and move on to more happier subjects.
We all learn by our mistakes and hopefully someday she will also.

Well, I have two emails in my inbox from two members who are taking me up on my offer for a response.

I haven't yet taken the time to put together my paper trail (which I always collect, I have a file on any member that has ever caused any trouble), but I will (for the sake of fairness... I know that Mummy is emailing everyone in her address book with her side of it, so I really need to get my side put together and sent out to those who ask).

Regardless, this is a low priority issue for me. I'm spending my time actually trying to make a living here, so this response will be late in coming.

I feel that there is no explaination needed, Dave. We all know that you do not do something without good cause. So whatever reason there was, is none of our business and you should not have to explain your actions when it comes to banning someone. You have my support and I'm sure that there are others who give their's as well.

Well said CoCo - You set up the guidelines for this site Dave and we all know what they are. It is your sole decision when and if a member crosses the boundaries and you have no obligation to defend your actions or explain them to anyone.

An unfortunate incident, to be sure. But for those who might be wondering if being banned from DG is something that happens on a whim, without warning or "out of the blue" - it's not. Just as in a real-life public setting, if you start an argument, you're probably going to be asked to let it drop or take it elsewhere. If you cause a scene by screaming or throwing punches, you're going to be shown the door. The same holds true for the few who have been banned from here.

And if you asked them, that's probably not their version of the events; but please remember there are always two sides to every story. And (as CoCo has pointed out), often the rest of us aren't going to hear both sides of the matter, because it isn't something that should be dragged out in public.
