So Excited Getting Company - Troy

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

Just got an e-mail from Troy and he is coming to our home tomorrow (I hope) to visit. I have been on this site for quite some time and have made many friends, but have never had the opportunity to actually meet face to face. Now tomorrow will be the first time. I am so excited!
The gardens are pretty sparce, should I set out the silk flowers LOL!!!
Can't wait!

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

How exciting! I wouldn't do anything different. I'm thinking that Troy will be able to offer lots of comments and advice. But then, you are a vetran gardener already. I say just enjoy the day. I really hope someday to meet another DG member.

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Enjoy it! There ain't many things much better than meeting a DG member!
Be sure to post!

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

You will be surprised, I'll bet - he'll seem like an old "Buddy". At least all of the DG'ers I've met have seemed like that.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I wouldn't trade having met any of the ones I have for anything! and Azalea is right, they all seem like long time friends.

Great, I can't wait! Sure hope I don't scare him off, would like him and his friend to stay for a burger and beer or something! Oh, and of course a photo or 2!

Thanks Troy, so glad you got home safe and had a great time. Everyone was right, just like we had known each other all our lives. We talked about everything under the sun and then some. And Troy came bearing gifts! What a great guy he is and I am sure we will do this again. Will post the pic as soon as I figure out how to erase the photo of me LOL!
Troy, did you find the surprise in your truck? Happy bug catching!

Oh, I forget to tell you the gifts:
Amorphophallus konjac plant
Blackberry Lily Belamcanda chinesis
What wonderful surprises! Can't wait to get the lilies in the ground tomorrow and find a good spot for the amorphophallus inside!

ah no i didn't
and no you didn,'t
you did not have to do that
thank you very much
when did he sneek out and do that
and how do you make the stuff that goes into it

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

You are more than welcome, and Steve is pretty clever LOL! I didn't even realize he had gone out long enough to empty it and try his best to rinse it out LOL!
I just use some Hawaiian Punch or something red and that seems to really attract the flies.
