Who's Been to Punta Cana?

We go away every other Christmas - 2000 was Christmas in New Orleans and this year it will be Punta Cana. Our children alternate between families over the Christmas holidays, they are always home for Thanksgiving.
We have heard a lot about Punta Cana and have reserved the Christmas week at Iberostar Punta Cana!
Any info or special things to do would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know about Punta Cana..but if you're staying at an Iberostar, you can't go wrong~! Have fun, think of me! Some friends of mine just back from their second stay at Iberostar in Cozumel. Saw the pictures..NICE!

Thanks, I have heard Iberostar is a good outfit. Also been doing some reading about the Outback Safari Tours they offer. Sounds like a fun excursion.

Thanks mings, but will venture out for the Outback excursion or something. The same was said in Jamaica, you have to be very careful when touring around, same for Cancun, and many other areas. We'll be careful!
