My honor

The company I work for is starting a news letter for the employees and one of the features will be hobbies of the employees. I was notified today that I had been chosen to write an article about myself and my hobby that being plants for the first edition. I really feel honored because there are about 300 employees. Of course I think because I am always carrying plants into the plant to give to someone is the reason I was asked.I hope that when I retire I can become the company yard man. LOL

Oh, Georgiaredclay, what a nice honor. I'm sure they've all enjoyed the plants you bring, but I'll bet they asked you to speak because they know you have lots of knowledge to offer. Anytime I can get somebody digging around in a garden, I feel like a successful person. I'm sure you'll get lots of folks out there digging away!

How exciting, congrat's to you GRC!!!! Just one word of advice for you, if that want a photo of you for the newsletter DON'T give them the HOOTERS one!!!!!! (hehe)

Carrying plants into the plant...seems appropriate somehow. :) Congratulations!

It is so few and far between that an employee is recognized for their unique strengths. Good for you!!! Go for it!

Hey I have more information. It is spotlight on an employee and you tell about yourself, family and etc. including hobbies. Oh goody I'll get to tell about the grandkids and Bobbie how she can cook all my favorites. I am also going to tell about Dave's and the roundup. Hey, I'll post the article after I finish for a little critique. Hey Sue, I think I'll use the hooters photo. Then all the men will really pay attention.

We'll be waiting to see it!
