"today" . nice touch .
Thanks. I just made the change, well, "today". hehehe
dave
another change Dave, looking good....
I just came here to ask about the "today" also...I'm sorry to say that I didn't like it as I had to look elsewhere to see what day it was.
Don't worry Dave, I'll adjust...hehe I am such a creature of habit and sometimes "change" takes me awhile. My SIL just changed my computer from Windows 98 to XP and boy was it different, I still am getting used to it, but I do like it alot better.
Donna
Hey Donna, here's a tip: The current date is displayed on the top of the DG homepage. That's where I start, so that's where I put the time.
:)

So another question. When tomorrow comes, does the "Today" change to yesterday's date and we have new "today's" in place of today's date again? Did that make any sense? I have to say that I miss the date being there, but I too, will get used to it. Just wondering about it because there might be times that I won't be able to get online and I know I can hit "skip to first new reply" but sometimes I can scroll down to today's posts and ignore some of the older ones. I know, I'm rambling.....guess that is something you will have to get used to. :-) Do it all the time.
Today means today. If you are viewing a thread (on August 29th) then any post made on August 29th will say "Today".
Tomorrow those posts will say "August 29th" and August 30th will say today.
I hope it's not too confusing. I actually meant the feature to make the site more friendly.

I was hoping that would be the way it worked. No problem for me, I can handle this kind of change. I'm pretty easy to get along with anyway. Thanks Dave.
Awww, I was hoping for
Today
Yesterday
Day-Before-Yesterday
...all the way back to A-Month-Of-Sundays
and The-Day-The-Music-Died.
As long as we never see one that says Tomorrow, we'll be okay!

I like it!! Thanks Dave.
I like it too. thanks Dave.
It took me a few minutes to figure it out, but after a day spent with it, I like it too. Just have to keep my calendar closer (I love having the little extra cues about what time it is, what date, etc. on the screen in front of me).
That IS neat, Dave! Lupine, hover your mouse arrow over the time in the bottom right of your computer's browser ~ the date should pop up. Neat, too, huh? ;)
