Wee Arizona Round-up

Crossville, TN

While researching DG by state, I discovered 3 gals from my beautiful home state of Arizona that all joined DG in April.....they just sneaked in and we never got to do a proper welcome to them. Well, I emailed each of them and the results were a very nice lunch where I was able to meet 2 of them in person (number 52 and 53!!). Judyb lives in Phoenix and wasn't able to make the 4 hour trip, but Farizona and sqwidgetz met me and we enjoyed meeting each other.

Pictured left to rt: Hannah (DD to farizona), Farizona (Frances), Roadrunner (Jo), Sqwidgetz (Joanna), Chris (DH to Sqwidgetz). My DD took the picture.

We met in Benson, which is about the same distance for each of us. I had told them to meet me at "the old train engine" they had in town....Guess what...they got rid of it! I also told them we would eat at a certain restaurant....guess what? It was closed due to a fire!! Luckily, we had each told what kind of car we were driving, and Benson is a very small town...so were able to connect and find another place to eat.

Farizona had brought me some maters and we got in such a big way of visiting that we both forgot to exchange them....now she has to come visit me and bring them (I hope).

It was a great luncheon! Jo
