New Font!

I like it!! It's bigger and much easier to read, Thanks Dave!! Makes it easier on these ole eyes!! :)

New font? I have IE's settings so it ignores the fonts on webpages and lets me resize them for my eyeballs. What did ya change it to, Dave? I am used to just holding down the CTRL key and scrolling the wheel on my mouse to change the font sizes!

I tell ya what Gardenwife you are smarter than I ever had time to be!!! I just float around here and see all these different fonts and Bold words and I seem to stay clueless!! LOL
As for what he changed it to.....clueless about that too, just know that it's bigger hee hee

And to think I am not even a blonde!!

I changed the CSS file this afternoon. For all MSIE users, the font is now Arial (it used to be Helvetica).

For all non-MSIE users, it's still Helvetica.

Dave why can't U do that for NS users too? I use NS mostly.

Sugar_FL, I also use Netscape, and I think Helvetica looks better in Netscape and Arial looks better in MSIE.

I don't think that either is really superior, so it's just a matter of personal preference. I had to make the fonts something, so that's what I went with. Prior to the change, everyone was using Helvetica (since that's what I wanted) but now MSIE have something that looks better in their browser.

Dave the font is fine in NS BUT I have to scroll in NS & now I don't have to in IE. Why is that & can anything be done about it? It is hard to read when it has to be scrolled back & forth to see it all.

Do you mean scrolling to the left? You shouldn't have to, unless the fonts are set too large on your Netscape configuration.

Is it left and right scrolling that you're talking about? Have you configured netscape's font sized yourself, or are you relying on the default set?

Dave I'm not sure if it is default or not. I have more problems in this puter than that. I did make the fonts smaller but still have to scroll to the right some. I don't guess it is important *G*

Gardenwife, I have to agree with Mollybee. You are one smart cookie! I've never tried the Control/scroll thing... pretty cool.

Ya know Dave, now that I remember correctly before you changed the font I didn't see the full screen. Meaning all the items on the right side. I would always have to maximize the page in order to see the whole thing. But now everytime I open DG I see the whole shaabang! Hope you leave it this way, b/c I like it better!!

Now I can see all the messages without scrolling to the right :)

I was surprised to see the change I thought the OB changed the settings because he knows I have a problem seeing. So glad I read this before talking to him about it.
