Since I am so late getting home and downloading my pictures, I thought I would do them in collages...they are too good to not show!!!
Our first stop on our Maine Adventure was at Louisa's in Virginia:

Louisa, what a distinguished-looking DH! I am very pleased to meet him as well. And what is that fantastic-looking red bloom by your foot in the bottom right photo? Looks like a hardy hibiscus, but if it is, either it is in a deep hole or it is a midget!
Oh, y'all can't see me, but I am hiding behind the big group, giving them all a hug, and one from you too, Mystic!
As you can see, Lauren immediately fell in love with our dear Louisa! I really like the photo of Louisa at the doorway - what a beautiful wave from such a beautiful lady!
Oh sheesh Carol - guess I love you too!! lol!! Jo this is very clever of you and wish I had the knowhow - very, very savvy you are!! I got the hug Peggy (remember!!) after I Jo kindly reminded me!! :-) And Kathy thanks for all those compliments - I'm reeling!!! DH is very happy too! That is indeed a hardy hibiscus which the girls so generously gave me and which was standing on a lower step - so you can only see the top of the plant - it's gorgeous and I'm so lucky!!

Oh Cala - I thought it looked too exotic for VA but that's fine because I need some colour in the sunroom and I will get to baby it even more. :-)

I am so sorry I didn't get to go on this trip! (not that I like to drive and well I don't ride well either-LOL) It sure would have been great to meet this lovely woman. :) I waited for Jo to get a bunch of pics up so I can travel their 'route' in order. Thanks for the visit with Lou! You all look like you had a great time.
