Crossville, TN

I am HOME!!! Here is how the day went.
DS took me to the airport in Nashville...had to be there at 8:30 AM...he found a "Heads-up" penny as we went in and gave it to me...I ASKED him if the luck was transferable...he assured me that it was...we get up to the sign in place and guess what? The airport computer decreeded that I was selected at random to have all my luggage searched. Now this made me one of the last to board so had to sit in the middle seats.

When we arrived at Tucson...20 minutes late...I was greeted by my DD and DGS with this news "your car has a flat in the parking lot"!! Have you seen the spare tires they put in new cars today??? A very nice man helped us to get that tiny little tire on...and we drove to a tire place and purchased a re-tread for $15.00, plus $8.00 for putting it on.

All of this made us right smack dab in the middle of the evening monsoon storm.

Well...I got home...and so much for "transferable luck" on Lucky Pennies!!! Jo

Oh Jo, forgive me but I just had to giggle.....only happens to the favored ones....but lot's of sunshine, and a good night's sleep in your own bed will work wonders!! They searched my luggage once too....thought my makeup kit was a bomb....can ya make a bomb with makeup?????? Hubby is always searched because of the Seik bracelet her has....life goes on.
