Carol & Vic

Carol stopped on her way home from Cala's yesterday. Spent the night. We had a GREAT visit and she is on her way to Horseshoes before going home. I look like a slob but this is the real me. I was in the garden digging plants for Carol.

Vic, I think that pond needs to come to Tennessee. I have a question though, where did she put more plants?

Cala, she put them in the trunk, I sure hope they survive the heat. Bad, the whole second floor is yours and those are my absolutely favorite shoes. Even though I look like an idiot in them, they are so comfortable. And yes, it was so much fun to do plants and not food planning - LOL! ps...Darius...there are still plenty of plants for you and just so you know, whenever you come, my dress code will be the same LOL!

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Carol just left here, finally on her way home to Adam!

And folks, from what she tells me, Vic's DH built that house all by himself! (Correct me if I'm wrong, Vic.) Pretty impressive, eh?

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

Yes, very impressive!! Great picture, good to see ya both again!

Maben, MS(Zone 7b)

You two look like you are have a great time.

Yep Shoe, all by himself - without my supervision - LMBO -
Actually, I was up in Yankee Land working while he was building this house. Pretty good carpenter isn't he???

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

vic, your DH built a beautiful home and your pond is lovely. Nice to see your two smiling faces too.

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

Oh what a gorgeous picture of my two dear friends!! I just knew your house would be beautiful vic and the garden is perfect too. Carol you sure have a lovely man to let you go awandering for that length of time. But I knew that the minute I laid eyes on him!!! :-) Looking forward to seeing you both again!!

(Zone 5a)

Vic you look just fine, you know us gardener's always have dirt under our nails. I am so glad that you two had the time for a visit and I look forward to meeting you one day.

Your home is just lovely and I know that your very proud of your DH for building it for you. Now as for that pound I think that it would look a lot better here in my yard lol. I guess Cala and I are going to have to divide it in half lol.

Surry, VA(Zone 7b)

If you think the outside of Vic's home is beautiful you should see the inside - it is absolutely gorgeous. Hank put alot of love and sweat into it, but for a great gal like Vic I can't blame him. If it wasn't for being on the food committee together, I may have missed the opportunity to get to know this great lady!

(Zone 5a)

Carol7 don't worry you still have time to get to know this lovely lady. I hope to get to know her as well so I can sneak in her back yard and fall a sleep listening to the sounds of the pond and nature...she would have to evidict me becuase I wouldn't want to leave lol. So sorry to steal your back yard Vic but I just couldn't help it.
