On the road again.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Well the girls are on the way to their last stop before heading home. We had a good time and it was so wonderful to see them! I wish they could have stayed longer. They brought me some gifts from other people on their journey (thanks Kathleen and Lupinelover!!) and a DG cook book! Of course they didn't take much in the way of plants (I think Cala has everything! LOL) and I promised Carol an assortment of seeds later. Jo actually took some iris. There is hope yet. Giggle. I sure do miss them already. They should be at Mystic's in an hour or so, then be on their way home. Sure wish they could have stayed longer. I love those girls. :)

I think 'chel was laying down recovering from these ladies! So much energy! I had to lay down for 3 hours after our afternoon to recover! Cala, I like this photo of you; it shows a little of "you".

'Chel, I am so glad you liked the seeds; I know your girls will have a great time helping you plant them :)

Mystic, I wish I had realized they were coming down to you, I have some seeds drying for you. Write me and I will tell you the heirloom veggie seeds I am gathering :)

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Rest me??? Are you silly or what? LOL I went outside and separated some water plants, watered some gardens, ate a snack and now I think we are going to jump in the pool for a few minutes. It was so awesome to see them! I will get those seeds put out and have a few plants to put in too. The corn relish is wonderful!! Thanks so much for both. I am going to have to start paying you back soon. :)

Showed too much of me if you ask me. I must have gained 20 lbs on this trip. Nothing fits anymore!!
It was great to see you Michele. We had a fun trip to Peggy's and she fixed a good ole southern dinner!! New England food is great, but sure did miss fried taters and home grown maters.

Grove City, OH(Zone 6a)

Cala, well, if you need some extra exercise to work off the weeks of sitting in a car, just holler! I would love an extra pair of hands (especially ones who know what they are doing :) to help me in the garden. LOL

Really, I know you are going to have plenty of your own work in your greenhouses.

Chele, the only thing you owe me is to have news that your health is back to normal! Of course, in the spring, if you happen to have any spare water plants... :)

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

If Michele ever offers to make you breakfast for dinner you need to take her up on her offer. She had quite a spread laid out for us - I was beginning to think I was at a breakfast buffet and her sausage gravy is delicious. How she can manage to tile a bathroom, have beautiful gardens, and raise five beautiful daughters all at the same time has me in total awe. I have to find out her secret.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Awwwww Carol! You are too kind! The house was a mess, the towels were late going into the dryer, the carpets needed cleaned, blah, blah, blah, and man was it hot outside! LOL I loved seeing you girls and wish you all lived closer. OH, and you and I still need to talk seeds! You didn't take any while you were here. :)

Grove City, OH(Zone 6a)

Oooohhh, I love breakfast for dinner. We call it "brupper". Well, y'all have heard of brunch, why not brupper? LOL pancakes, french toast, sausage, bacon, omelette, you name it: tastes even better in the evening, cause then I am awake to enjoy it! And I don't have to wake up to cook it before breakfast! Never quite figured out how to do that: wake up enough to cook breakfast before breakfast! Takes me a good hour before my eyes focus!

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

I am with you Lupine breakfast taste better for supper(dinner) sure sounds like my kinda meal and I know Chele is a great cook so I am sure it was great.
