Goodbye Nerk, Hello Cinci

The Fab Four Minus One left here a hair before 6:30pm, and they're on their way down to Badseed's house. Lauren is staying and extra day here with her good friend Beth and Beth's dad is driving her to Cincinnati tomorrow, I believe. It's all very confusing, LOL.

Look out, Badseed...I sent along two containers of chili (one for you and one for Mystic) and Lupinelover sent you a jar of her kick-butt hot corn and black bean salsa. :D

Now, not only my mom is going to subscribe to DG, but my stepdad Bob as well. They loved meeting everyone, and got them soooo interested in getting in on the fun here. Be on the lookout for Lotusblossom...Not sure what dad's name will be, though I have a few suspicions.

I'm whupped - think I might take me a wee nappy. Howie's working today and tomorrow, but got to visit everyone before he left for work. He really enjoyed meeting everyone; I'm so glad he likes having company as much as I do.

What a GREAT weekend this has been. We love you guys!!

GW, THANK YOU for using this photo. They all got me LOL. Photos of me abound on everyone's camera, I wasn't allowed to hide! We all had such a great time, you all were wonderful hosts, I am so glad I finally got to meet some more Buckeyes, as well as the Fab Four. And, yes, they are Fab. Come back soon ladies :)

Oh, a sneak peak into the future? Calla said she might be going to do it again this fall. Not up here in the cold north, but down south where y'all are blessed with winter warmth.

Would, or could we bribe her with some Texas Kick Butt Chili and some warm Corpus Beaches??? Good shot, love seeing everyone.

It was a good trip, we didn't have any trouble. We were greeted with hugs and kisses from all the girls and the puppy too.

Awwww ~ I'm jealous. Will you come back here tomorrow? My house is so eeemmmmmmpty..... *sniffle* You guys were so GREAT - and thank you so much for the cookbook!!!!

Kimberly, it was so good to see you and Howie again! I wish we could have stayed longer, but I told Adam that we have to come up and visit you soon. Thank you for opening your home up for the get-together on Sat! The chili was great and it was so much fun meeting everyone!

I want you to know this is the first time I have seen this post! How the heck did I miss it and where was it hiding? LOL Of course I did not see much of my computer once my visitors arrived. (ducking) We enjoyed the chili and salsa the day after all the girls pulled out of here. Both were wonderful and thank you much Lupine and GW!! It sure was nice to have company. I may have to actually clean my house and consider doing it again. LOL
