The Fab Four on the bench

Panama, NY(Zone 5a)

Well, they are off on the road again, plants flying out the back, Carol (with her glasses) reading the maps and directions, Lauren eating fries (from McDonalds - I don't do fries before lunch) and Jo keeping them organized and on time. We had a wonderful visit, Cala and Carol and I visited a couple of nurseries, Jo got rested up and found that she liked the porch swing as much as she liked the bench and Lauren got to pet the baby cows! Everybody loved the dogs and Ned is now Poor Ned for the all abuse he takes from eating plants - there will be photographic proof of his nefarious habits here soon!

We're just getting to meet everyone thanks to this road trip that cala's taking...yippeeeee

sounds like a fun time was had by all.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

they look rested. Your place looks very peaceful, I'm certain they had a wonderful time.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

So, they ought to roll in here in maybe six hours or so if they don't make any stops. Anyone know if they'd planned on stopping anywhere on the way from New York to Ohio?

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

They still look fresh as daisies! Great photo of them all. Cala - you look funny with no bunny ears!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I wanted to stay another week with Kathleen but Jo was trying to keep us on schedule. I wanted time to teach Poor Ned to only eat green flower pots so May would be blamed for it. It was a wonderful experience to stay on a real dairy farm.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

I am so jealous! I would love to meet Kathleen and see a real farm. The kids would get a kick out of it. They had the best time on the trip to TN, pointing out all the cows and horses. LOL

Crossville, TN

Kathleen and Stan....thanks for a GREAT time!! I loved it. Jo

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

That dairy farm brings back childhood memories of my Uncle Stanley and Aunt Claudine's dairy farm in Missouri....I particularly remember being chase by a mama pig to the outhouse 'cause I tried to play with the baby pigs without her permission.....never thought 5 yr old legs could churn that fast!!!!!!!!

Kathleen spoiled us rotten with homemade breakfast rolls, not to mention homemade bread too! She took Cala and I to a nursery that had great plants on sale for only a dollar and we couldn't resist. :o) If we would have had the opportunity to stay longer, Cala, Lauren and myself would have given Ned, May, and Sadie a bath so we could secretly smuggle them up into our room. LOL They are such adorable pups and I think we almost have Cala convinced that she needs to own a border collie too! Kathleen, thank you for a great visit, and give your DH a big hug from us too.
