GWD in "How did you find out about us" on Mellinger's site

Spicewood, TX(Zone 8b)

In the pull down menu on the catalog order page of Mellinger's http://www.mellingers.com/contactus.tpl?cart=102825935319327 they ask "How did you find out about us?" and give a list of choices. The Gardenwatchdog.com is one of them! I just thought that was neat. ;)

wow, that is so cool!!!

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Man, that's great it's a named choice and not just under "other"!!!

Excellent! We have dealt with Mellinger's on a personal level here (regarding the Watchdog) and we know they are very supportive of the site. They appear to be a solid company (and their comments in the GWD seem to support this).

13 positive ratings is nothing to sneeze at.

It is cool, isn't it? I thought it was 'cause it's a rather large company that's been in business for a while (right?). Word's spreading!

Yes, but so was Henry Fields. But it's the personal service, I think, that sets Mellinger's apart.

I've never dealt with them from a customer, but the professionalism of their staff does impress me.

I didn't mean it's cool that they have 13 positives (It is) or that I thought they had those positives because they'd been in business a while. What I meant was I thought it's cool that a business that big and established would name the GWD by name like that! :) I guess I got my tongue wrapped around my eye teeth and couldn't see what I was sayin' for a minute there. It did look kind of funny. ;)

It is very cool; I had not seen it, so thank you for sharing!

I take those types of references to mean the GWD has become of a force to be reckoned with, and the bigger U.S. companies are taking notice :) At some point, we really need to beef up the companies outside North America. But definitely not until the PDB challenge is over, lol.

Thank you, Terry ~ THAT'S what I was trying to say. LOLOL!!

Understood. It's definitely too late for me! Now that this has occurred, I'm heading up to the house for retirement until the morning. :)

Yeah, I think it's past my thinker's bedtime, too, Dave. ;)
