Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

Are here in Michigan right now and we are watching the radar and praying they miss us.
Please keep us michiganders in your prayers tonight
They have some circular movements 30 miles away and heading this way!!!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

praying doll, you take care!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Hang in there and stay safe. Eclipse says Iowa is to get some bad stuff this weekend too. It has been a strange year all over. Thank God Wintermoor is okay, even if the gardens are gone. Everything can be replaced but a human's life.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Storms passed thru here about 3 hours ago, and I will admit they were pretty rough. No damage done, as far as we know but it was pretty scarey. We had LOTS of lightening and hard rain, just hope this is all we get!
Hang in there Dori!!

Spicewood, TX(Zone 8b)

Hang in there, Dori! I'll keep you in my prayers! PLEASE let us know after they pass that you are okay!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Molly, once again, I didn't get one drop.

south of Grand Rapid, MI(Zone 5a)

storms hit here and were frighening! We haven't had one all summer and this one was a doozie. High wings and horizontal rain - even came in the windows. Flattened a few plants, but I think they will recover - broke my brug in half (sob), but house is still standing. Am going out to prop things up.

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

Well this was amazing..after I unplugged last night and got all the kids in the house the storm broke up-It was windy 60-70mph winds, lighting and not a drop of rain fell! The worst of it went around us! Praise the LORD!
I hope all other michiganders are ok!!!! Thanks for your prayers! We are all safe n sound!
Looks like its going through ILL. now! stay safe

Spicewood, TX(Zone 8b)

I hate to hear that your brug broke in half, Sarv! But I'm sure glad that was the worst of it for all of you!

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Wow tiG, I can't believe that you didn't get any rain!!! I mean we really had alot of rain, I would have gladly shared the rain part with ya...but wouldn't want you to go thru the rest of it.

Dori, Glad to hear you made it thru the storm safe and sound. Have you checked on the plants this a/m yet to see if all is ok??

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'm losing perennials here. We used to get all the storms that passed, but I think the line has shifted. :(

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Awww tiG I hate hearing that. I think you're right about the shift, b/c I remember when ya'll always got rain and we didn't. Maybe they will shift again this fall and you'll get enough rain to keep those perennials alive thru the winter months. Trust me if I could send ya some I would :)

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

Montgomery Center, VT(Zone 3b)

Hi notmartha, I don't have anything to add to your thread other than I am glad the storm missed you.

I just saw your name and wanted to stop and say hi to you.

Your garden buddy,
Jerry G.
