Fab Four: Chili's simmerin' :)

It's simmerin' and all we'll have to do is heat it up Saturday. By then all those goooood flavors will have married a bit and they'll be reallllly good.

Jo - My mom is so excited to have a DG member staying in her guest room. Get ready for a tour of her yard. Good thing it isn't a big one, huh? ;) She and dad are sure to have coffee out in the gazebo with ya Saturday morning before you come back here.

They left here at exactly 11:21, the second time. They had to come back and get Carol's glasses so she could read the maps! I waved bye from the waving bye window and sent them off with a prayer and a few extra plants. you are going to have a ball!!

Long as they don't leave any plants here...LOL. WE still have plants in pots!

GW, you can't have the ones they are bring me from Kathleen LOL. I hope Badseed checks here: I am sending something with them on to her :) The Pony Express rides again!

This has been so fun, watching their progress around the country, who is going to do the next one? When? It would be great to do down in the South in October, all you LA, AL, GA, MS, people. I think some of us northerns would love an escorted tour of the Deep South (I would, but not able to travel :(

oh please!!!! if you came here, you'd have to bring sleeping bags, but I have room for them:) and I'd just love to have some of y'all here.

There are so many DG'ers in GA, y'all get to meet often (at least it seems like it to us), I am sure it would be a great way to visit everyone!

I wish I could find that post -- I'm not at all sure what time to expect them rolling in. Late night's fine with me (you know our crazy hours!), but if they're coming straight here from Kathleen's, they could be here by 6 or 7pm, even. Anyone have a clue?

Roadrunner's over at my mom's, and we raised a few sodas in Horseshoe's name. It's been humid here, but we sat out on the porch anyway and enjoyed the evening. Howie's pretty tired after a stressful week of overtime, so he's already zonked out. I don't know about Carol and Susie, but I'm kinda psyched. :)

Tomorrow we're expecting Windsurffer and her OB, Lupinelover, Naturegal and one of her friends to join us for chili and cornbread.

Well, I'm still up, LOL. Everyone else is asleep, though I hear them getting up and using the restoom from time to time (too many sodas, LOL).

Folks aren't coming until around noon, and I expect they'll want to visit a while. Since you're only 2 1/2 hours from my house, they may stay until early to mid-afternoon. I'm really not sure at this point...

I need to get to bed so I don't sleep until noon, huh? We're all going to my mom's at 9:30 or 10:00am for coffee, then coming back here. We'll post more once we know more, okay? Watch this thread, Chele! :)

And we had them ALL in here in our little 750 square foot house at one time. :) There are lots of pictures - just gotta edit them all and resize them.

We were sure squashed for our group photo, but we had a great time, not too small! Of course, some of us were outside and others in the office, and others petting the dogs and ... You forgot Beth's dad! He was there for a little while too.

That's right, I did forget Phil! He was outside in front most of the time and we didn't get a chance to talk except when we first got there (we girls were late getting back from my mom's - *blush*).
