IT WORKED!

Oh, this is so neat. For all of you who encouraged me to ask for starts of the hostas at a local Dairy Queen....

I came home with three starts of a HUGE-leafed, but yet unnamed, hosta. In turn, for the owner, I "thinned" out several of her other plants and helped fill in some bare spots. She now has four plants growing where there were none before and I have a few new hostas to get in the ground. She even suggested I take more than I did.

Oh, and she gave me a free soda as I was leaving, too. :)

Thanks for your support in this, folks. I asked and I recevied. :)

Well, I'm actually in IL visiting my family, so my mother and my cousin are the lucky recipients. It wouldn't make it long enough to get back home as we're not leaving until later this week. It's a gorgeous plant. I'll take some digital pics this week and when I get home, I'll see if I can get it ID'd.

I only had one shot at this hosta, too. Bethany was at a camp in DeSoto, MO and it's over an hour away. When I dropped her off, I saw it. When I went to pick her up, I had to dig it right then. God was definately answering a prayer with this. :)
