anyone sell seeds on E-Bay???

I was just wondering.....
I'v offered up my poppy and foxglove seeds for a SASE, but I still have sooo many left over, and quite frankly I dont want to go to another site and offer them, and just had this brief thought about E-Bay (prompted I'm sure by all the bru ha ha caused by that guy using Poppysue's poppy picture without authorization)
Is it worth it? I mentioned it to my husband and he did his usual harumph - you're wasting your time, it will cost you more money in the end line......
Sooooo......is it worth it to try to figure out the whole e-bay thing??? (and I have my own photos......lol) -But the mother stock is from Poppysue.....

I sell seeds and sometimes plants on Ebay and get a much better return from the seeds. In fact I'm often amazed at how much some people are prepared to pay for the stock. It doesn't cost much to do it so try it once and see what come sup, can't hurt to try!

Baa, I dont know the first thing about e-bay and how to go about it.....I think it will tax my brain too much, and I will get flustered....or, I'm just scared cause I dont know how to do it (?) could be....
well, when I was reading about the guy (infamous photo snatcher) and I think there was a link to his offering, he was asking like 6 dollars for a packet of seeds or something like that? I guess these people dont know about seed trading.......and then, I think that I may wimp out and just send them the seeds....

It's pretty easy to list something for sale, what I find difficult is pricing, so I run a quick search to find out what others are selling it for and price it around that. It's no good undercutting too far as people will then think there is something wrong with the seeds or won't bother to complete the deal because it's not worth writing a cheque out for.

Baa, I will have to devote some time to this venture and just surf the e-bay site for a bit, and maybe follow their guidelines....They must have some instructions for "the dummy's guide to selling on e-bay" lol - that would be me..

It would be a good idea to check the auctions that have ended too and see what the average price similar seeds actually sold for.

Pebble I sold seeds for quite a while there. I made pretty good money doing it. That's how I bought my digital camera :o]

Yeah, fair, ofcourse there are local pages for mos of important european countries and Sweden but not Finland.. :P
