If feels like fall

More really strange weather! Last week it was in the 90's and 100's, and now yesterday and today it hasn't made 70. The high so far today was 69 degrees. It actually feels like fall, and it gets down into the 50's at night. Wierd! I don't know if this is going to set my tomatoes even farther back than they already are or not.

I'm off work today, so I'm baking buns and bread. At least with the cool weather I can run the oven! :)

Oh,for a fall day! Heat index was 110* today and it's been misrable all month...even at night.

My tomatoes won't set fruit because of the heat..it's just been one of those years.

Me too, Mel........and I was looking forward to 'maters!! Oh well, goona leave them in the ground, maybe we still have a chance for fall tomatoes.

It's now 56 degrees and falling off pretty rapidly and they aren't predicting another warm up in the 10 day forcast. I don't know what's up with this weather! If this keeps up, we will have a freeze in August. Since our spring was almost non existant, that severely shortens our normal 3 month growing period!

I'm gonna move south, I swear I am! Just let me win the lottery. Oh, yeah, I have to buy a ticket to win and North Dakota doesn't have a lottery. I am so screwed!

Okay, I think Lisa has us all beat. She said it was 113* in Thibodeaux Saturday, with 110% humidity. And they were set up on asphalt for the farmer's market.

I guess it's alllll relative! Whooooooooooo!

I wish we'd have a weirdly cool day here, as well as a nice long, steady rain. It's been in the 90's here, and really humid, so the heat indice has been around 100-105*. On Sunday, they were calling for a high in the 70's for Wednesday, but now the Weather Channel says a high of 81. Hmmmm, that's down somewhat from what I saw it predicted earlier. That's good! Oh well, it's the weather -- whadda ya want?

I want the HOT HOT weather back-I dont mind watering everyday! i luv swimming with the boys when the pool is 86-88 water temp and outside is 90s! Send it back to me im freezing here at 66 degrees this am!!!!!!!!!!!

It is 77 here today with and expected high of 84. The humidity is jumping already. Step outside and immediately start to sweat. LOL We are supposed to get thunderstorms. Ha! Last one lasted all of ten minutes. Giggle. Guess I will enjoy sitting half naked in the air conditioned office of the cardiologist. Anybody want to join me?

Im still freezing here-they say we will hit 80s by thursday!
YAHOOOOOO! Sick or not im cold! its 60 right now and im in jeans and a sweatshirt-sitting on my cold lil feet, cuz im to cold to get up and get some sockies!!!!
Come on hot air-summer will be over and winter(yuck)will be here so I want to enjoy it!!!

I do not want any more hot weather, like 90+. I haven't been worth 2 cents for 5 weeks, no rain, either. The Lord doesn't read the weather reports, I guess! Doesn't He know we are hurting? Our tomatoes are small and green, corn in garden is dry, not juicy and sweet. Ho hum, before long we will complain about the cold. I wish!

It's still cold here too Dori. It did manage to warm up to low 80's yesterday, but this morning it was very cold again. It's still only 61 degrees out.

Blow some of that cool air down here in Tx. Im burning up!!! *gasp*
