Dave,

I had a trade list set up before you made changes (thank goodness), and I now have TLID and numbers there. I didn't put them there, but it seems silly to have them on my list if I don't know what they are.

I can't be the only member out of one and a half thousand who isn't keen on all this clicking. I'm not likely to use the Trade Tracker or the Journal, but I would like to have a list here. Can you add a Seed List page or something similar where we can just put a straightforward list of what we have for people to see?

The Trade Lists is a powerful and complex application. Some members utilize the tradelists to its full potential. Other members use it simply to list their seeds and/or plants. Other members simply don't use it at all.

For those who want to maintain a trade list, but are intimidated by its complexities, Sharon (SMSPear1) has written a tutorial to get you started.

If, after checking out this howto, you still don't want to use that software, then just type in your seedlist into the paragraph section of the preferences (it's the last text box on this page: http://davesgarden.com/pagepreferences/ )

Then it'll show up right on your member page.

Yes, I just told eltel to do that, but I wasn't sure how much we could put in there.

Mary: There is no limit to the amount of text you may add to the paragraph on your member page.

Well, there is a limit - 64K. That means about 500 pages of the written word.
