Dave: Could you add a request to your wish list just for whenever? Could we have photos on the Hands on Home forum? It'd be neat if people could post pictures of their projects and suggestions. Thanks! :o)

Hi GW. I don't want to allow images in any of the forums (except plantsid and photos) for several reasons.

The primary reason (and the deal-killer) is bandwidth. Photos slow down threads. Folks realize that if they go in the photos or plantid forums, they will expect slow download times in those posts.

However, in the rest of the forums, they are guaranteed to have access to clean and quick threads that don't have images embedded.

If you want to include a picture in one of your other threads, place that picture in your journal, and then copy and paste the link to that journal item into your post. Easy as that!

Oh, I didn't think about the bandwidth issue. Me, with the supersonic 38.8 connection on a really good day! LOL! I need to putter around in the journal and see how it all works.

Make sure you go through SMSPear1's tutorial on the journal (you'll see the link as soon as you enter your journal).

That tutorial will get you well on your way to journaling efficiently and effectively.
