I've been hearing announcements on the radio about some of the Survivor members coming to Lincoln for a fund raiser. DD and I went to the Farmers Market this a.m. and then went to the grocery store. DD mentioned that she saw a poster that Survivor members were going to be signing autographs, etc. There was quite a line up in the frozen foods section. Anyway, as we were leaving, some of the group came into the store. I recognized Rudy and Lex (the guy with all the tatoos) and the woman who used to be corrections officer. I wanted to stand in line to get Rudy's autograph but dd was being a "stick in the mud" and wanted to get home to all the chores we needed to do.

That's fun. We watched the second season, but kinda pooped out after that. We taped it so Howie could watch it with me when he got home, and something always happened to our settings or I'd forget to set the cable box like it had to be set. We just gave up!

I'd like to meet Paschal, he's from around here, and a nice guy. Wouldn't stand in line for an autograph, but I have several times for my favorite band. Was with a group of party poopers last time, and they wouldn't wait!

What was the name of the lady who pulled out her upper plate on the 2nd or 3rd Survivor Series? Mad Dog? The week before the round-up I saw her at the grocery store - she's from a small town less than 15 miles from me. I knew she looked familar, but I couldn't place her until another lady came up and asked if she was the lady from Survivor. When I told Vic about this Vic said I should have invited her to the round-up!

Last night there was a piece about this Survivor group on the local news. They were interviewing people from as far away as Canada and Ohio who drove into Lincoln to meet this group. Now I kind of wish I would have stood in line for an autograph and tried to see if something like that would sell on e-bay. And besides, I always had a thing for Rudy, since he was a fellow goat farmer.
