my uncle is settling in pretty good. i found out that he was afraid of making alot of booboo's as he calls them and that I would throw him out. I could not help but laugh a little because no one makes as many booboo's as i do. i have assured him not to worry and by all of you sending him the stamps and seeds we have all made him feel welcome. i decided to make a game of his booboo's. each time one of us makes one we write it down. guess who's ahead by a landslide? me of course.lol. but i think this has made him feel better about things. anyway just wanted to give you all an update and say thanks for your concern.

Janet, you continue to amaze me. You just know how to turn things around and make the best of whatever the situation is. Your good heart is making your uncle a better life, and I do hope the others do what they said they would do. Would it help if Uncle James wrote a thank you note to them, thanking them for what they said they would do and mentioning how much it means to him to finally have a little place of his own? Maybe they would feel a little more inspired to follow through then? I have you permanently on my prayer list, because I know you will always be biting off a huge chunk and needing divine intervention to pull it off, LOL!

Janet,

I told my husband about your unselfishness and we're both impressed. We don't have a single uncle between us that we'd want to take in. :) There are a lot of them that we love, but we love them right where they are. :)

God will bless you immeasurably for all that you are sacrificing to make your uncle comfortable.

I think you're awesome.
