Rain.finally! :D

Zone 6, OH(Zone 6a)

Finally got a good rain last night :) It's been a long time since we've had a good rain here. I hope it doesn't take this long to get another good rain! I was getting really aggrevated with watering and looking at the browning grass...and suffering plants :(

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

We have had three weeks of 90+ and I too was getting sick of trying to keep my plants alive, then the spidermites moved in and sucked the life out of the brugs and P. Fls. DH sprayed them and one P. Fl. and three brugs look terrible, lost all their leaves etc. I needed his help bad, as I have been trying to keep up with with a hand sprayer, he has a big one. Hope they come back to life.

BTW, we got a whole 12/100's of an inch of rain, this is supposed to last us until Sunday, first chance. It was above Lima yesterday, went over us, now it is down south today. Guess we just don't live right! We needed it soo.... bad.

Sharpsville, PA(Zone 5a)

We had this HUGE downpour in the afternoon. lasted for a good hour. Then it quit. and then. it soft rained for a good 2 around 5. So nice. Nothing waters the plants like good old Mother nature.

Perrysburg, OH(Zone 5a)

Please send some up this way, we only had a couple sprinkles yesterday!!! The cracks in my clay are over two inches wide in some areas.

markleysburg, PA(Zone 5a)

Here south of Pittsburgh we had a good rain. My large waterbarrells got full and overflowed under the eaves. I had planted trees the day before so I was so glad for the rain. It has been very cloudy here all day and blessedly much cooler/

Grove City, OH(Zone 6a)

Here in Grove City I got 1 1/4" of rain! Yay! I too was so weary of watering to try to keep things alive! Maybe I won't have to water for a few days now?
