That I have old 2 lamps and what is the best to clean on top cover for lamps? I did not want to ruin.

RR, are you talking about the Lamp Shades? If you need to just dust them, I use a soft clean dry paint brush, and take it outside and brush away all the dust. If the underside is a hard material, just use a damp sponge to wipe it down.
