Mabe this subject is covered somewhere if so I apologize. Some kind soul provided me with a membership last year. It surely must have expired by now/ How do we know when and where to pay etc???

Most of our subscriptions won't come up for renewal until October 1 or later. (The only ones that renew prior to that are those that are for a two-month trial.) There will be reminders prior to renewal date. :)

If you'd like to know your own renewal information, you can always click on "subscriptions" to find out the specific date you're due for a renewal.
