Disappearing posts to threads

Dave, there were 2-4 posts to my thread "star of bethlehem bulbs' in the bulb category... tonight there is a new posts but 2-4 have disappeared. Wha' happen? -darius

I have no idea Darius. It's particularly confusing since I never saw the thread before, so I didn't see these posts before they disappeared.

Dave... Look at the first hyperlink in go_vols post above. That's what I remember seeing. The second hyperlink is what I see now when checking threads in the bulb forum. Thanks!

Darius, I can't tell you which forums they're in, but do a search using the following string "Star of Bethlehem" (including the quotation marks) and you'll get results that include both threads.

One thing I noticed in one of the threads (sorry, I can't remember which one, and it may be in both) is that the Latin name of the plant might be misspelled - I think they're ORNithogalum umbellatum, not OMithogalum umbellatum (but it's hard to tell the difference the way the font runs the r's and n's together to look like an "m". Had a hard time finding these plants with an internet search on the Latin name until I realized that what I had cut and pasted was misspelled.

go_vols... Thanks. My monitor is bad and I rarely get a clear screen, plus I am not a typist. Hard to tell if I have a spelling error or not. Maybe my tax refund can buy me a new monitor!!

Darius, glad to help - when it comes to spelling, at least you have your monitor to blame, I have no such excuse, LOL!!!! Hope your tax refund is on its way (and mine, too while I'm at it!)
