Something strange dave

Dave, when I just signed on, I am getting tons of watched threads from ages ago. I looked at a couple, and there's no new posts on them either. I think it brought up every thread I have on my watch list.

Me, too. But when I re-entered the site, everything was back to normal.

I tried getting out of the site and coming back in, but that didn't work for me. Did you have to log out and then back in?

How is it looking now? I made some pretty dramatic code changes a few minutes ago. Anyone else having trouble?

dave, getting something that says Admin menu on my screen

I am still getting all the watched threads whenever I come here.

Dave, it looks like everything got "re-set", and is new again. My watched threads all appeared, but I simply closed out the window and re-opened DG (I didn't log out) and when I re-entered, they were gone.

But all of the threads in most (all?) of the forums now appear as having new posts.

Bunch of funkiness, I'd say. I've really messed things up this time. hehehe.

Well, the good news is it looks like nothing serious. I'm fixing stuff as I find it. Any other oddities, please report here.

Dave, when I hit skip to the first new reply it's going to the very first reply in every thread even though I've already viewed them.

I am also getting lots of old Watched threads. Just letting you know. I am going to close and come back now. Hope it helps.

me too, and everything I've read before is showing as new, even something I just posted myself. Tried going out and coming back, didn't work.

when i first tried to log in @ 11 pacific time, i could not get in and got the message'no response from DG, check with administrator.' i thought it was my computer. i scanned, defrag and reboot. still could not get in. the past few days i had that problem. i just keep trying, which i believe is very unusual. also was getting old watched threads. takes a few minutes between threads. just thought to pass that along.

I couldn't get through either, about 2 pm EDT. Waited about 15 minutes, got on! Have to take it down a while again?

I'm beginning to think Dave did this on purpose so we would all realize how many threads we were watching. LOL! I started out with 356, and have slowly wittled it down to 313. Long way to go yet.

Glad I wasn;t the only one having that trouble. Since I get on the listing with the no news letter. adn the other trouble I was having. I just figured it was just happening and it was on my end like the last times and not on the other end. Got no news lettter this morning. again. See someone else didn;t either.

none either on the Extra column to the right of this message. probably Dave is too busy & excited to meet a lot DG members they have on the roundup in TN? just my 2 cents.
