New forum (another one? :o

Grove City, OH(Zone 6a)

Dave,

How about a forum for us planning the Ohio get-together this September. We have called it (I think MikePiper came up with it -- he had to have been a salesman) HOORU for Heart of Ohio Round Up (Isn't that a great name?)

Thanks.

Kathy

I think the Round Up forum should be used for all kinds of roundups. Any other opinions?

Sounds good, Dave. Maybe we could put "HOORU" as the first word in the appropriate subject lines.

Not trying to step on any toes here,But I think Dave is right on. That way no matter where the round up is going to be held at, you can find all the info on one forum. kinda keeps it narrowed down a bit. But now that is just my opinion. :)

Kim, Kathy, and I Were thinking the same thing about making sure we put HOORU in the subject line as much as possible.

We will continue on the plans for this once we are back from the TN. Roundup, we all three plan to meet and do some brainstorming once we get back.

So keep watching in the weeks and days to come.

Thanks Mike

Yep, that's why I boldfaced HOORU and said it so many times, LOL. If we can just keep HOORU in the subject or in at least post within each thread, it will be simple to search for threads containing it. Sure ain't anything else at DG called HOORU! ;)

Spicewood, TX(Zone 8b)

LOL, GW! I kind of figured it would be easier if everyone put something like that in the subject line, too. Now for us Texoma people, that would be DG&FLTRU&B ~ not so catchy. *grin* I think I'll just put "Texoma".

I think putting the location in the subject is a good idea.

Best would probably be a subject like:

"Texoma, TX/OK: blah blah blah"

and

"Ohio: Blah blah blah"

That way it's easy to find by location. Also, new folks wandering in will be able to identify with "Ohio" easier than "HOORU"

*sniffle*, but it's not as fun to say Ohio, LOL. ;)

Kim, you're right, unless y'all are from Uh-Hi'-a LOL

Y'all may be right about keeping them all in one place, roundups. Maybe after the big one is over in TN it will be easier to find the different ones, not as much traffic! LOL.

I am praying y'all have a safe journey and that, just as important, y'all have a great time!

Afterwards, I suspect there will be pages and pages of photos, LOL. It'll be like the photo forum, only exponentially increased posts!

Hooru. HOORU! I love how that sounds!

Kim, was it you or Mike who came up with that great name? It does sound so neat.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Well, he came up with Heart of Ohio Roundup, which I just love. I started calling it HOORU for short. Isn't that a great name - I liked that slogan when the state used it. What was it, "The Heart of It All"?
