So LBJ is NOT shipping orders???

TiG,
I know how you feel waiting for "Y"s. I have plants from seedlings as tall as 4 feet and still no evidence of a "Y". I guess the benefit is they will be wonderful tall plants eventually with nice canopies.

Somehow I knew that I would never see that package. She was so nice on the phone and indicated that she hoped they would have the complete order to ship. Very poor business practices, I'd say. Okay now.......don't laugh!! I went outside this morning to see my Jutner Orange. Just knew it would be open and what to my "wondering" eyes should appear, but a Frosty Pink in its place. I've been salivating in wait to see my first REAL Charles Grimaldi.......well, pink is pretty, but not what I was expecting to see. I received two of these cuttings marked Jutner Orange and sent one of them down to St. Louis to a friend. Just wrote him to see if his bloomed gold. If it did, I'll get a cutting back from him. The great part about this is that the Frosty Pink that I got from Jeanne didn't make it and so I'm okay on that end. I think Dr. Suess will be fine anyway and not that much difference in the two golds. Just that shock to my system every time I go to the garden. :-) Now, we are off to the eye doctor, once again. Have a great day everyone!!

Well, I think I have you all beat ..
My last order to NHE was early 2001. I received 3 brugs a year back with promises for the rest fall 2001 and spring 2002. NHE does not answer my inquiries. Just wrote again a few weeks back. Nothing )o:

Poor business practice ??? Don't bother to ask my thoughts right now.

Me? I am all in favour for trading. The 'old days' should never quit. After all ..we want to enjoy these while we are living, right? lol

Well, my little Whiskers (received in trade in less than a weeks time from a member here. Thanks :o) is about 10" tall.
Looks I will be waiting awhile for blooms. ha
But probably in less time than waiting for my order 2001.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Brugnanny..........aren't you lucky! I had placed my order in December. And when I questioned what was going on in May, VH cancelled it, and rather rudely I might add. Well I am glad you got those great brugs! May they grow large and full of cuttings! LOL

Discouraging, isn't it. i have sent things saying send me the postage when you get the package, and "i'll send you this, when you get something remember me"...... NEVER again. i blame myself, but i'm not willing to spend any more money like that on postage not to mention the plants. otoh, there are some people i trade with that i couldn't tell you who has sent more packages to whom and they have sent me such good stuff i would never want postage from them.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

busybee, I have a whiskers if you want it. it's small though.

Speaking of postage anyone done any mailing since the rate increase?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I have, and depending on where you mail to, it can hit you hard. One two pound package was almost $6. mailed 2 lb to TX today and it was 4.90.

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

Thanks very much. You are an angel. Let me know what I can do for it. Postage or anything that I have. Sending this with foot in mouth.
