Rain totaled.

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

In a 24hr period we got 3 1/4 inches of rain, the water was running across the road-out of the farmers field and into my yard =[ My garden is SOAKED and lots of flower damage-its so sad, i cried n cried!
On thursday we got an inch in an hour and when we woke up saturday morning there was water everywhere. The kids like to run threw the little lake we had in the front yard! But i sure hope thats it for awhile. My Dh went out and picked the strawberries last nite-sinking in above his ankles, I had just tilled everything so nice B4 the rains hit!!
So NO more RAIN!!!!
Did anyone else get SOAKED!!!!!!

Newcastle, ON(Zone 5a)

Elizabethton (Stoney, TN(Zone 6b)

Dori, please send the rain our way .... my next-door neighbor's grass is totally brown. I've started to water mine.

Benton, KY(Zone 7a)

I saw this on the news and wondered how you were doing. It's heartbreaking...been there ,done that.

My sympathies...I can relate. But it does get better...I promise!

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

I'm like Granny, no rain forever and with the drainage in the mountains, even a few trees look stressed, especially the locust trees. But today, we are gettting rain from a front coming in from the EAST! Weird! I hope it reaches you, Granny.

Maben, MS(Zone 7b)

I hope it reaches us also, everything here is burning up. Our garden will soon be too far gone for a rain to help.

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

It got up to 90 saturday after the rain and then again on sunday-they say it will be that hot again today and then cooling off for next weekend-I sure hope it doesnt rain next weekend-its Teigs graduation party!
everything thats still standing is growing good!! It sure would be nice to get some corn IN the ground before the 4thof july!***sigh****
If i could packages the rain up Id send everyone that wants some a big boxful!

Mason, MI

You got rain?
No fair...'not a drop here,
and we really need it.
Our fields are bone dry,
my flowers, too.
Send some rain down-state, will you?

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

I will try my best to get the rain to you-digging drainage routes to head downstate! Its unreal how much we have gotten here this spring! I havent been able to plant my veggie garden-cuz i couldnt get it tilled it was just to wet and would clump up and the land is tiled!!!! I tilled it the day before it rained so as soon as its dry enough to walk on-the mators will be in!!!!
I cant believe you didnt get any of that storm!!!!

southeast, NE

Yes - please send us some of that rain. It seems people are either getting too much or none at all. The cracks in the ground are getting bigger and bigger and the grasshoppers are eating whatever is growing. All I do is water and water - about ready to give up.

Grove City, OH(Zone 6a)

Send some on down here to me in Ohio. After all our spring downpours (did you see Windsurffer's flood? -- she's about 2 miles from me) we haven't had any rain for 3 weeks, and temps in the 90's every day. My ground under the mulch is so cracked most of the mulch fell in! Don't bother to water the lawn, but have been working very hard to try to keep my newly planted babies from dying.
