haven't seen mom all day! wish the babies would move a bit, can't see anything but lovely gray feathers.

mom is there now, babies slept a lot today. Has anyone noticed the branches with green leaves in the nest???
are those babies cute or what?????

I have had the eagles on my desktop for over ten days now. They are off in a corner so I can see them. It never gets so dark that you don't get a good image. There is a time in the evening when the shadows move quite a bit between each twenty second shot.

They have gorwn noticeably in the time that I have been watching and yesterday they seemed to be on there feet quite a bit.

I was away all day today so have not seen them until just now.

I noticed the green leaves yesterday and wondered what the deal was with those. Now today there's more of them. ????

They are getting big arent they?
I dont know about the leaves, unless it's windy and they are being knocked off the tree, cause I do believe the tree is a birch, and those do look like birch leaves.

mama seems to be staying away longer..

They're all in a little wad of feathers right now. :)

I think it's so neat how they are starting to loose thier downy feathers and get their black ones.

Their black feathers coming in remind me a bit of a Dalmation dog ~ LOL...

Good idea, George, about keeping it in the corner to watch. Did you do anything special to make that work?

Hey, Pebble, if I can figure out how to graft some sprouts off my white birch, I can send you some :) I've got sprouts off the top of roots that I don't want to waste. But, I don't know how to propogate a white spire birch, do you? It's always been my favorite tree & I've seen so many creative items made with the trunk...

the cam seems to be stuck. has been for a couple of days...

:( Noticed weird stuff yesterday but thought it would pass... i suppose maintenance isn't a possibility since it would disturb the family. i hope they know what the problem is and can fix it remotely somehow...

I found another site, the discovery channel has several live cams, they have a tiger one that is awesome, I posted the link to that one under tiger cam

apparently not....try the tiger cam...they have been keeping me entertained :)

Still doesn't appear to be working. Drat! And there's not much going on here either with everyone away having fun. If it wasn't 101 degrees outside, I'd be out there, but way too hot to work outside.

I thought it was my puter, didn't realize it was the cam. Missing my eaglet fix!
