I'm allergic to just about every perfume or cologne under the sun. Hubby really likes Farenheit, but it gives me an instant headache. Not tonight dear, you're wearing cologne!

My DH use only go somewhere but other that sometime use at night special for me. LOL I love Perfume and body spray favorite.

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

Old Spice, Paco Rabanne, and Cool Water, but once in a while, someone with the right chemistry will smell good with something else. I like some of the woodsy things.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

I love Old Spice, too. Mmmmmmm. Many other scents are too strong and give me a headache, too. But I do like my Old Spice man.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Old Spice, Polo and Cool Water bring back lots of good memories for me. :)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

lagerfeld (probably spelled it wrong) and Paul Sebastian

Antrim, Northern Ire, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

can I say what I like?

Kouros
Tommy Sport
Aqua di Gio
Issy for men (cant spell surname, I'm at work)

Salem, OR(Zone 8a)

My father wore Old Spice religiously, so I still like that smell, oddly enough.... Freud would like that, I think.... I've always bought Polo for my hubby, and past boyfriends. But the real "turn me on" scent is - are you sitting dow? - Hai Karate!! It reminds me of the early primal hormone surges of being a teenager with a HUGE "love thang" going on!!! ;) HEE HAW I am not even sure if it is still on the market...probably not. It was cheap and available at supermarkets in the 60s and eraly 70s, and undoubtedly "helped" many unplanned pregnancies back then.... :( Brother!!

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

My favorite is Red, but I can't get it in aftershave anymore and dh will not use cologne, only aftershave. I also like Eternity for men, but don't know if that's available anymore either. I think I'll check into that for Father's Day. DH just buys Stetson at walmart when he buys it. It's okay, but nothing special.

Edited to reword something. LOL! Boy am I glad I did.

Drakkar gives me a headache!...lol I can't stand really strong smells in perfumes. I used to use Fahrenheit and now I use DKNY.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

My husband wears Eternity and Issey Miyake (and I wear issey miyake for ladies) Now my son, who just started to shave his so called fuzz has asked for some Eternity...

Obsession for Men...............hmmmmmmmmmm!!

I like very light woodsey fragrances on men. I have to say though, that I just love the way my husband smells anyway.
Animal magnetism I guess.

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

I like Drakkar Noir. But not if it's put on too heavy.....just a hint of it is perfect :o)

There's so many colognes out there for men that smell like sweaty socks to me or like a gym room.........yuck. Like the ones that Adidas makes, those just stink, I think.......LOL

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

does irish spring count??
if i had to chose my 1 favorite, it would be the el cheapo jovan musk for men..he gets migraines when he wears heavy colognes so that one works for him.
could be because thats what he wore on our first date, too, lol

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

deisel fuel!! ;0 my dh is a deisel mehanic!!! LOL
i like eternity,Brut,polo,avatar,tommy and others!
But i luv the smell of my hubby when he gets home from work-like a real man!!!!

Austin, TX(Zone 8a)

I thought I was the only one that liked the smell of diesel fuel! When I was in high school my boyfriend and I worked for a place that ran the shuttle buses for the university and at the end of the shift we both smelled like diesel fuel. Before we went home for the night there were those searching looks, holding hands, tentative kisses and long talks of teenage angst. The smell always reminds me of young love :)

Okay this is making me laugh and bringing back memories. I dated a guy in high school and his 'scent' always reminded me of 'Band Aids'! LOL He worked in a nursing home.

Perrysburg, OH(Zone 5a)

No cologne for my dh, when we first met he used to wear aqua velva, just because it was his favorite color!!! I prefer no cologne, don't know why, I like the way he smells when he comes home from the machine shop, cutting fluids ect...very manly but not stinky!!! My favorite is plain old ivory soap--you can't beat that in my book.

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

Becky, my second husband wore Aqua Velva, and when I ironed his shirts, the steam always made the smell rise up, no matter how much I washed the clothes. I liked it until things went bad, and now it actually repels me. But the smell that goes waaaaaay back for me is Vitalis hair tonic. Yucky sweet unless the chemistry is just right. "You still using that greasy kid stuff?"

Plymouth, MI(Zone 6a)

Cool Water and Old Spice. They are both great. Old Spice is about 40 dollars cheaper so I smell that around here alot more.....Meems

Castelnau RB Pyrenée, France(Zone 8a)

Like a few of the rest of you here, i have a problem with commercial scents. (They either give me a headache - not tonight Josephine - or make me feel nauseated. Not the desired effect i imagine LOL)

Mix my own from essential oils (must be whatever carrier they use in the ready made ones) On a man, a blend with ginger in gets my vote......or nothing at all is even better if it's the right man. Hmmmmmm might have to rephrase that last bit!

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

Phil, let it stand, I know what you mean! I have always thought it would be great to blend my own fragrances, for the reason you gave. Almost everything commercially available has a negative side to it, and I truly don't find many I like anymore. I bought a collection of men's fragrances that were designed to be blended, back in the late 60s, and it was neat to be able to create the shadings of aroma as I chose. The collection went with the husband, oh, well.
