Peppers: Habaneros

Hab pods should be about 1 to 1.5" dia, 1.5 to 2 in long.
Except for whites, these are roughly jelly bean size. And the Aji Habaneros are typical chile shaped

Nice site! _Lots_ of good info there about peppers. As soon as my baby habanero peppers grow up, I'm sure they'll be the proper size. My jalepenos aren't ready to pick yet either. They're about an inch long and still growing. I'm already picking sweet banana and green peppers. I think this is going to be my best year yet for peppers. The weather has been extremely hot and dry the past couple of weeks. We're in the middle of a drought here in the Southeast and that always means a great crop of hot peppers. I can't wait to eat them!

Greetings:

This might seem odd for a question however:

Q1: Habaneros: Caribbean RED

My plants are in excelent shape, about 2 feet tall with excelent foliage and flowers all over.

My problems is that No matter how many bees or any insects, plants shaking or even using a Q-tip cotton swab to pollinate the flowers. I simply don't get any peppers. The flowers dry up and fall off eventualy.

I'm beginging to wonder if this variety is "sexual" (seperate males and female plants), even if the flowers contain both pistils and stamens.

All my other hot pepper varieties are growing like crazy, including super cayenne2, hungarian hot wax, big chilly...

Any ideas?
