Daylillies in the database.

Okay, maybe this is a bad suggestion or would cause a lot of work, but I have to ask. I was going to add some daylillies to the database and a search for Hemerocallis took some five minutes to come up. There are tons and tons of them in there and most do not have pictures and are also lacking a lot of info. My question is, could they be sorted alphabetically? Many sites that sell them, or large numbers of anything, sort by the first letter of the alphabet. Is this possible or no? What I mean is that they be split in say quarters or something, so that each covered about 6 or so letters. Then if someone typed Hems into the database, it would come up with A-F, G-L, etc. Is it possible??

Michele, that's a good idea. And actually, Dave's already done something along those lines. Click on the "Daylilies" in the right-hand box of the database.

Then scroll down past the photos and comments, and you'll see alphabetical links to help you browse.

Will that work for your needs? Please let us know....

I found it was easiest just to punch the name into the search.

Very true Sue - IF yer a gud spelr (grin)

Seriously, if you search by cultivar name and don't find it, double-check that spelling and/or try searching by just one word (if it'a two-word name.)

Ummm, how long has that been there? LOL Feeling pretty dumb now. I sure as heck did not see that this afternoon. :( Can someone please remove the peroxide from my hair??

It's one of the new features that Dave created when we went to the new version of the database. (Leave your hair alone, it looks just fine like it is :)

I did go back and look. It does not show up if you click database, unless you scroll down. I am feeling a little bit better. Giggle
