Hi.........I have had Dave change my user name from ROBBOB to naturegal. People kept thinking I was a male plus I didn't realize what sort of user names were being used. This sounds more like a garden person...I'm just a little Happy Gardener who has all these tiny garden fairies working for me.
Didn't you know there are garden fairies? They are pretty small, so you have to really look for them, but they are there!! lol
ROBBOB IS NOW naturegal
User ROBBOB Name Change
Guilty - i for 1 thought you were male! Welcome naturegal, that leaves us in no doubt ;)
I thought you were a guy too...
I just never thought much about it. Just figured you in with all the rest of the DG family here. Good to have you with us,no matter who you are or what you go by.
Welcome to DG.
At least we all know now that you're not robbing Bob anymore.
Now, do tell us about all the good stuff you're growing?

I knew there were fairies down there!!!!
I wouldn't make it without me little fairies......they sure can know the tar outta them bugs...LOL!! I love the new name!!
"eyes"
I can relate. People sometimes think I'm a male too! But Vic has been my nickname forever. I like your new name and yes, I thought you were a male too.
Thanks guys........
How do my flowerbeds grow...Well with:
Marigolds, vincas, Mexican Heather, wave petunias, begonias, salvia, ageratiums, geraniums, impatients, black sweet potato vines, and one I can't think the name of. Those, of course, are annuals.
THen I have quite a few prennials. My Iris' are almost bloomed out, were really pretty this year, as was the phlox. I have bee balm, Yellow and purple cone flowers, columbines, 2 butterfly bushes, bittersweet, silver lace vine, 2 trumpet vines, lots of ground cover, hostas, astilbe, some I can't recall the name of. Some rose bushes, and the standard assorted bushes. I have some single hollyhock, which is hard to find any more, around here.
Oh, and tiger & day lillies, and some others. Enough already, huh.
Some people describe my gardens as English or cottage. No rhymn or reason how or where I plant. If it feels good, plant it there.
What is most satisfying about my beds, is that I did most all of it myself, including labor. My DH was on the road for 11 or so years. IF I wanted it done, I just had to do it. He travels no more and helps with the labor part. Good thing, I am not as young as I used to be.
Well, I didn't mean to write a book but when I talk about my garden, I get really windy. LOL Can't you tell?
Noooooooooooooo!!!!!
HAPPY GARDENING!!! :0)
Bobbi
Mercy me Naturegal..sounds like you have a great garden growing! You go girl!! (Now as for that "robbob" stuff...came from RobertaBobbi, right? Or from BobbiJoRobert? Or from...well, never mind.)
Hope to hear more from ya! ('specially since I wanna hear how your hostas are doing)
Hi Naturegal!!!I love the new name...I wonder why? LOL Sounds like you have quite a garden!! Jo
A new name for you, eh? As far as Robbing Bob goes, I thought we robbed Peter to pay Paul. That's what we always say! ;) I have to remember this...You're now Naturegal. OK, got it.
By the way, you could do like a certain egotistical American pop star: Your DG homepage should now include a line saying you're "The Gardener Formerly Known As RobBob".

LOLOL gw!
Good choice, see ya on chat!
I also thought you were a guy. Like the new name a lot better. It sounds like it describes you very well. Never did like for anyone to rob Bob.LOL. Would love to see your yard.
You guys are all great. Yes the robbob did come from RobertaBobbi. I agree that naturegal sounds more like me. Sure am glad I changed it if you all thought Bob was getting robbed.. lol Yes gardenwife, you do rob Peter to pay Paul..chuckle...chuckle.
Every time I would see ROBBOB come up on the screen I would almost cringe. It seemed so cold and domineering and I am not like that at all.
I'm just an ordinary former country girl raised on a dairy farm, (many moons ago) and now live in town.
I sure would love to have any of you come see my garden.
"eyes"....those little fairies are a big help, huh.
Thanks for being so nice. Now I feel more like one of you, with the new name and all.
HAPPY GARDENING!!!!!
Bobbi
Hi naturegal.
I didn't realize that I had a neighbor so close to the west on here. My father-in-law lives in Lima, and I'm about 1 hour east of there.
nmax....Hi to you too. I'm not familiar with Morral, OH? I'm glad to find a fellow-gardener so close by. In what part of Lima does your father-in-law live?
Glad to make your acquaintance. Big word, huh!!! Trying to impress you. LOL
If they have an Ohio round-up will you be going? I hope to, if the dates land right. Perhaps we will meet there. I would just like to meet EVERYBODY!!
Bobbi
Wouldn't it be neat if every state could have a round-up!! Or even Tri-State round-ups. The way we are growing I think this might come about before too long!!
naturegal,
Morral is a tiny (don't blink or you'll miss it) burg on the very northern edge of Marion county. My father-in-law lives just a couple of blocks north and west of St. Rita's on Wayne St. It would be great to have a Ohio Roundup! Time is the biggest issue as it seems like right now I have enough tasks to last me the rest of my life and then some. I'm not sure how many Ohio members we have. Maybe someday we can get organized!
nmax...go to the round up forum...an Ohio Round up is in the planning stage there!! Jo
Me to naturegal. Everyone kept thinking I was female and then a lot thought you were my wife Bobbie because you signed Bobbi.
I need those fairies today in my garden.
nmax...Maybe we will meet someday. Would be great.
Georgiaredclay...I know a lot of people were confused between your Bobbie and myself, Bobbi. The difference, of course, is that your wife spells her nabme with an (e) and I don't. I hope she is doing well. Give her my best.
Sorry I couldn't spare any faries today, I had all mine really busy. Worked outside all day, my DH helped also,
got a lot done. THat light at the end of the tunnel is
getting closer. I think we can finish up tomorrow. Have
two planters to fill and a small raised bed. Think I will just throw some seed I have in the bed and call it good and see what happens. That should do it. THen I can sit back, and watch them all (hopefully) grow. I know, I know, I have to tend to them. WOrse than children, need attention. Especially the container plants. But I love it!!
HAPPY GARDENING ALL!! :O) Bobbi
