I visited the abads site today. There is a picture of Rothkirch wth the copyright of Herrenhausen. Compare the color of it with my picture!

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Just do a little trip across the border Liz... ;)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh Liz and it is so hard to root. I have failed now several times. I am going to try again with rockwool as soon as I get home.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

There are quite a few that are hard to root. The ones you see everywhere? There's a reason for it. They root easily. The others are finicky.

Montgomery, AL(Zone 8a)

I think the time of yr you try to root them makes all the difference in the world. I have not had any trouble rooting them once night time temps stay above 55 degrees. Just keep them damp, not soaking wet, and in a shaded area.
I never root them in water, makes for weak roots.

They are like old ladies

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Has someone been into Owens cake?

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I think so CC, and ate the whole thing. Some ladies prefer gentlemen Larry, this is probably why you have such good luck! Good to see you around, can't wait to see you in June!
