How to post pictures to DG ?

Hi,
Have aptek digital camera, and nice pictures in "My Documents Folder" on my computer. How do I get them from there to various forums on Daves Garden.

Hi Dorise,
If you click below in the box that says 'image JPG' and click on browse it will take you to your system. All you have to do is click on the file you want, then click ok. Then hit submit. It will take you to a preview of what you posted and your pic. If you have the right photo and text, click okay. If not, you can back up and fix it. Once you post a photo, you cannot remove it yourself and will have to ask for help, so make sure you pay attention to the preview. :) Does that help?

Just a little add on to Michele's good advice. The pictures should be formated as Jpg files before posting them. This is done with the software that came with your camera.

I guess we also should add to save them at 800x600 for the size that looks and fits best on here. Okay Zany, your turn to use the brain again.

Hi FG,
When you go to post a new subject, that is right beneath the box where you put your text. It only shows up when you start a new post, so you cannot add a picture on someone else's thread. You will only see it when you click to start a new thread.
