A big sunshine hello to all of you on Dave's Garden! I am Dave's wife, Trish. I've mostly stayed in the background until now, watching the wonderful site grow. It is wonderful to know that all of you are just as excited about DG as we are. I'm sure that you'll see more of me in the future.

Dave has built a wonderful website here, but I think that it can be more. I agree with those of you who have mentioned making the site "prettier".

Lets start with the logo.

We would like to get all of you involved in the process.

The contest- Who can come up with the greatest Dave's Garden logo.

The rules- Must be in .jpg form. Must have "Dave's Garden", or "DG" in the graphic. Cannot be a copyrighted image, and if it is your own image, you must be willing to sign the copyright to us.

The prize- if we choose your logo (or we use your idea as the inspriation), I'll send you a fun craft present for your garden.

The deadline- One week from today- Jan 16.

Ideas: "Dave's Garden" written in a font that looks like grape vines.

Hopefully this will get you started. I can't wait to see what all of our creative members come up with!

Brook- Hmmmm...Being the VP around here, you might want to be nice to me (big wink!)

Patty- you are right, a computer graphics artist is exactly what we need :) Neither Dave nor I are very talented in this area- that's why we are looking to the members for help :)

Come on everyone and put your thinking caps on- I know we can come up with something wonderful!
