Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Seems like we just had the 1000 member count! Just clicked to 1300 before my eyes. Daves is getting bigger & better all the time!

It seems incredible doesn't it? Hit 1000 in mid-March and now 1,300! It's fun watching the population numbers.

Yeah we're growing by large numbers every single day. I don't even know where all these members are coming from, but I think it's all just word of mouth. We're getting big!

We may see 2,000 before the end of summer.

What's our average per week on new members? Somewhere between 80-100 new members? We should hit 2000 before June at this rate!

Sharon

We've averaged 12 signups a day since we crossed the 1,000 number. With this average, in 58 days we should see 2,000 members. So around the end of the first week in June we might be there. I'll have to break out the confetti again! :)

AND(!)...don't forget Dave...the site was recently mentioned in a newspaper around our parts a few days ago...circulation of that paper covers 3 major cities (Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill) and numerous out-lying towns...just out of curiosity I wonder if the average daily signups will increase in the next week.

Indeed Horseshow, I'll be watching. I checked the last couple days:

Thursday (when the article was published): 10 signups
Friday: 18 signups
Saturday: 14 signups

Fri and Sat are above average days!

So exciting! (I only wish the newswriter had mentioned my moniker instead of my "given" name...I don't remember the name "Horseshoe" being used in the article.) Still, all in all, we might get to see some more of our "Locals" online!

Howdy patty...I have no idea how to do that. Our scanner scans up to 10 x 14 inches and the article is a full page (newspaper size).

Horseshoe- is the newspaper on the web? If so, maybe we can read it from there.

Hmmm....good idea Trish. I'll go check!
