Another baby graduates!

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

Our third baby graduated from high school today. Jerri is such a sweetheart, and I'm going to miss her terribly when she goes away to college. So far we have one majoring in law, one in veterinary medicine, and Jerri is undecided between dental hygenist and elementary teacher. We still have two left to go and those years are going to go way too fast I'm afraid. I am already feeling the empty nest syndrome. :(

I'm going to put a family photo on my home page, in case anyone would like to have a peek at all of us.

Congratulations to you and Jerri, Joan! Three kids doing great things ~ you must be so proud! If you're not, then get that way quick, girl ~ you have a right to be. :-)

Thank you Wingnut, we are very proud! We are also very broke! LOL! But, it's all worth it to see our kids turning out well.

Jerri is an honor student with a 3.8 GPA over 4 years of high school. She loves children and wants to have a dozen of her own. Yikes! I think she would make a wonderful teacher, but that decision is up to her. We will support her in whatever she decides is best for her.

Okay, I'm done bragging. We are very proud of our kids!

Hi Joan,
Congratulations!
I knew she had a good GPA
(before reading all of the above posts)
because of those gold cords.
'Love those gold cords! :-)
Tell her: "Way-to-go!" for all of her
hard work in school.

All that and brains, too, Joan? Awesome! Oh, no you're not done bragging ~ get back on here and do some more. LOLOL! Really and honestly, if there's anything to be proud of, this is it, so come on and brag some more! You've earned it. :-)

Thank you all so much for your kind words. We think she's a beauty too. Today I'm rested from all the festivities and feeling kind of depressed. Sorta like post partum depression even. I cried lots yesterday and still doing it on and off today. Strange huh? It's been so nice to have all the kids around again though.

Oh I'm so happy for you and feel that feeling that only a parent can when they see their children in these wonderful caps and gowns. Even shedding a happy tear or two as well. Thank you for sharing it and congratulations to all!
