DG Folks who have MSN Messenger UNITE!!!

Hey, everybody! Aunty's got MSN messenger now and looking for some of you DG gardeners to chat with when I'm online! Let's all get together and exchange our MSN names so we can chat! Either post yours here so I can add you to mine, or you can send me an email and we can privately exchange them! Anyone game???

Beckie, Can you post this on the parking lot forum, so that only members can see our names and addresses? I would feel pretty safe putting that info on there. What do ya think?

Lois, non-members can't see replies to the messages.. so yo ucan safely post it here. Unsubscribers see only the first post in the thread.

Hmmmm....I chek'd out the parking lot and it says at the top of it that only members can see it. It doesn't say that here. I'll go to the parking lot just in case....

Oh Yeah, Evert, I forgot. They can see the first post of everything, and nothing at the Parking Lot. By the way, you are the same height as me, but I bet I weigh more. :)

FYI: THere is a great program called Trillian which allows you to have ONE program open and chat with people on MSN, AOL, Yahoo, ICQ and IRC chats. It's free. I've been using it for the last week and I love being able to have all my contacts show up in one window instead of having three IM programs running at the same time and slowing down my system! *bump* Yah, isn't it cool? The extra emoticons and sounds are kind of fun for a change, too. Louisa has a little cat icon next to her usename in MSN, and whenever she comes online now, Trillian meows! LOL

Yeah, I like the emoticons. How do they come out in other messengers? Like MSN. If I put a duck for example.

I haven't tried the sounds yet, didn't know there were some..

Some translate to MSN and others, while others just come through as strange text. You usually find out when someone replies, "What?" ;)

Oh, ok.. :) We'll see, I have only chatted with Diana since I got Trillian.
